Estas navidades tuve una sorpresa mayúscula cuando los reyes me trajeron un iWatRoad, era un regalo que no me esperaba y que realmente me hizo mucha ilusión, además había estado valorando comprármelo para los desplazamientos por ciudad… Toda esa ilusión se ha convertido en pesadilla por un servicio de atención al cliente extremadamente lento, muy maleducado y completamente ineficaz. Voy a contar mi experiencia con el patinete y con su servicio de atención al cliente.
El patinete iWatRoad viene prácticamente ensamblado, es estéticamente bonito y discreto y podría pasar por un patinete convencional a primera vista…a parte de las típicas pegatinas de plástico protectoras no hay que hacer mucho más para ponerlo en marcha. Ahí viene el primer problema, al quitar esas pegatinas, en el caso de los puños del patín ya están degradando el producto, pues por mucho cuidado que pongas en ello se lleva parte del material blando de la empuñadura para siempre jamas, con lo que te quedará una molesta marca estética, que no funcional.
Como en todo producto que lleva baterías lo primero que hago es cargarlo, el proceso no puede ser más sencillo, conectar el cargador a la parte de la batería y… Bueno ahí empiezan las preguntas que nunca podrás responder sin consultar o por la propia experiencia, ya que las instrucciones son pésimas… ¿Cuando ha terminado de cargarse? ¿Las tres luces que indican que se esta cargando harán algo especial para informar de la finalización del proceso?, puedo encender el patinete eléctrico a la vez que se carga para comprobar el estado de la batería a través de la APP?.
Una vez que después de estar cargando unas horas el patinete eléctrico iWatRoad te das cuenta que no hay indicador visual que informe de si la batería esta cargada o no. La solución de la APP es un desastre, al menos para Iphone, se desconecta continuamente.
En uso las primeras impresiones son buenas desde el punto de vista de que se alcanza una velocidad más que aceptable con el patinete, es muy curiosa la sensación de que vaya «solo». La rueda trasera hinchable es todo un acierto, no así la rueda motriz que no es hinclable, la conclusión de todo esto es que si vas por un suelo adoquinado, al cabo de un km acabarás con la sensación de que todo el cuerpo te vibra y que aunque bajes no parará esa sensación… Los ruidos son multiples, algunos continuos a «cascajo» que al principio hacen dudar de la seguridad de montar en el. otro problema que veo grave es que el freno que trae electrico es totalmente insuficiente y obliga a utlizar el freno trasero que se utiliza con el pie, a altas velocidades mover el pie para frenar puede causar desequilibrio, creo que un freno de disco hubiera sido mucho más acertado.
Las especificaciones que anuncian en su web son las siguientes:
Mediante la APP que se desconecta cada 5 segundos y te obliga a cerrar la APP volver a conectarse, e incluso a dar de alta de nuevo el patinete no he conseguido hacer nada más allá de activar o desactivar las luces y cambiarlas de color y una supuesta calibración del acelerador y el freno que no ha funcionado, entiendo que por los problemas de la propia APP. Básicamente tienes dos estados, o ir a tope o parar, los puntos intermedios son prácticamente inexistentes
En mi caso la batería al llegar al 40% da error y no deja continuar, con lo que lo máximo que he llegado a recorrer, dejando descansar al patinete eléctrico varias horas son 8 km con una carga.
Visto el fracaso, me puse en contacto con el servicio técnico de iWatRoad, la única vez que recibí una contestación cordial fue cuando hablé con un operador que me dijo que no me preocupará que lo solucionarían… A partir de ahí una pesadilla.
Mandé el correo a la dirección que me aportó su callcenter, al departamento postventa de IwatRoad, un 11 de enero de 2017, no me respondieron ni con una respuesta automática que al menos te confirme que han recibido el correo, al pasar unos días llamé para que me corroboraran la recepción… y si que lo habían recibido… consideraron que no debían responderme hasta el 20 de enero pidiéndome paciencia… luego recibí un mensaje el 23 de enero, ¡¡¡12 días después!!! en el que me pedían que explicará de nuevo la incidencia, copié y pegué el primer correo que envíe y que me dio la sensación que no habían leído.
Me mandaron una lista de absurda de cosas obligatorias por cumplir para poder pasar a recoger el patinete…

Entiendo que en una incidencia como la mía con la descripción y los datos hubiera sido suficiente, pero mandé todo lo que pedían menos el video, una petición en este caso totalmente absurda.
Después de varios emails insistiendo en que realizará el video y yo diciendo que no lo consideraba necesario su respuesta es:
…Por otra parte sin un vídeo de la incidencia no podemos proceder a recogerle el producto para evaluarlo, ya que son las condiciones de la empresa.
Al último correo que mandé el 25 de enero nunca contestaron… Me pregunto que si en las condiciones de la empresa pone que debo ir a Australia y volver para que pasen a recoger el producto tengo que cumplirlas… En fin… No he hecho el video, ni lo voy a hacer y tengo un patinete que no cumple con lo prometido y una empresa como IwatBoard que hace muy mal las cosas. Que borra los comentarios críticos con la empresa en las diferentes redes sociales e incluso en la propia APP del patinete.
Mi opinión personal es que son errores que tienen en todos los patinetes eléctricos IwatRoad R5 y que están prometiendo características que no se cumplen en la realidad… ni de lejos.
Me quedaré con el patinete para que mis hijos jueguen con el, al pesar menos que yo los ruidos se aminoran…
El mismo patinete se vende bajo varias marcas. También la he encontrado en tiendas de importación china. Entiendo que no es un producto exclusivo de iWatRoad, que solo le ponen su logo y me temo que a nivel de mejora de la APP y otras cuestiones no están capacitados para resolverlos por ellos mismos, aunque esto es solo una opinión.
Conmigo han ganado la batalla, no voy a perder más tiempo son el servicio post-venta de IwatRoad, Aunque espero que esta opinión sirva para que la gente que se plantea su compra sepa que puede esperar del producto y sobre todo de su atención postventa. Al menos este post no lo podrán borrar y se quedará en la red.
